Discomfort is minimal and is usually compared to the “snap of a rubber band”. Multiple treatments may be required to achieve your desired result.

The Spectrum’s IPL can be used for a variety of different treatments including acne reduction, removal of vascular and pigmented lesions. Over time, the outer skin can become discolored with pigmented lesions (brown spots) and broken blood vessels. The Spectrum Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) targets and removes these unsightly blemishes leaving behind a blemish-free appearance. The treatments are non-ablative and gentle by nature, making it a patient favorite. The Spectrum IPL performance provides efficacy and versatility leaving patients with healthy, youthful skin.

Hair Removal Treatment

Unwanted body hair is a problem that everyone experiences. The Spectrum diode laser will reduce and may permanently remove unsightly body hair. Melanin gives our hair color and is what the laser light targets to destroy the hair follicles in the active growth stage. It is safe to use on all skin colors and will leave the treatment area “Hair Free”.

Erbium Yag Skin Resurfacing
Get rid of fine lines in no time.
The Erbium Yag laser uses a less invasive approach for treating superficial wrinkles and sun-damaged skin. Erbium is the ideal treatment for patients wanting to achieve dramatic improvement in the appearance of their skin with minimal downtime. The procedure removes surface-pigmentation and mild to moderate fine lines and wrinkles on the face, hands, neck, and chest. This treatment is gentle and safe, and can be used with minimal risk.

Long Pulsed Yag Vascular Reduction
Why suffer from unsightly veins?
The Spectrum’s long pulsed Yag laser will diminish the appearance of existing veins on the face and legs. Once the laser light is applied to the skin, it enters into the vein, where the energy from the laser is absorbed and the vein walls collapse and seal shut, eliminating the vein’s appearance on the skin. Eliminating veins with the long pulsed Yag laser is quick and effective.

Tattoo Removal Treatments
Mistakes can be corrected with the Spectrum Laser.
For multiple reasons, body art may become undesirable. The Spectrum laser uses “Gold Standard” Q-Switched technology to remove unwanted tattoos. The dual wavelength laser targets specific ink colors. The tattoo ink is then broken down into tiny particles that are small enough so that the body’s own natural immune system can flush them away.

Recovery
Depending on the area treated, some swelling and irritation may occur. However, the majority of treatments have little to no down time and few side effects. Avoid sunlight and use sunscreen or antibiotic ointments to promote healing and prevent damage. Anti-aging skin care products may be prescribed by your doctor. If a scab forms, it should not be picked at or scarring may occur. For best results, follow Dr. Camden’s instructions after treatment.

Your HLMG Pixel8 RF Microneedling Session
Our team will customize your treatment by using both insulated needles (to deliver energy to your top skin layer) and non-insulated needles (to penetrate your sub-dermal tissue).
This means minimal risk of PIH (post-inflammatory hyper-pigmentation) which is common with older lasers that don’t allow such precise control and absorption predictability.
When we gently apply the micro-needle cartridge to your damaged areas, RF energy will penetrate your skin with minimal discomfort. We’re able to control penetration in 0.1 mm increments – from 0.5 mm to 3.5 – according to your skin’s needs.

Your After Care
Your treatment session will take about an hour. For 3-4 hours afterwards, you may feel some:

scabbing
If a scab forms, keep it moist to promote healing. Call us right away if you experience these rare, but serious complications:
bleeding

infection
Depending on your skin and treatment goals, you’ll need at least 4-5 sessions at intervals of 3-4 weeks.
